EXP Consulting Limited is a privately owned consulting firm who is now focused on Project Management Training and Consulting. Our Firm was incorporated in 1984 and has been active ever since. Our instructors are certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs). From 1985 to 1996, we were engaged full time in Project Management throughout the world with the main focus being on Canadian International Development Agency projects in Zambia, Sudan, Jamaica and China. This extensive practical experience, combined with continuous professional upgrading provides a rich base for our Project Management Seminars and Project Management Consulting Services. We use two instructors and limit Seminar seats to enables one on one coaching during seminar work sessions.
Project Management Training
The following three of our Project Management Training Seminars will provide project managers and team members with a basic knowloedge of internationally recognized principles & techniques plus a working knowledge of and ability to operate the most commonly used project management tools. Companies wishing to achieve greater efficiency in the planning and implementation of their projects should encourage project staff to take these seminars.
1. Project Management Foundation Principles and Techniques. This seminar is presented using generic models developed on MS Project to demonstrate the Project Management Process. This seminar is updated regularly to be consistent with the most recent edition of the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge.
2. Automating Project Management using MS Project . This Seminar teaches the use of MS Project software, in combination with Word and Excel, for Project Management, using generic Project Models for instruction purposes.
3. Enterprise Project Management (EPM) Using MS Project Server. These are hands on Seminars where participants will participate in building project files and saving them to MS Project Server. These data base programs will provide a facility for coordination of the total portfolio of projects which are being implemented by a company. They are Web based applications which operate on the corporate intranet for corporate communications. In addition to providing a facility for Project coordination in the "Corporate Project Office", These programs also enable Project Managers to use the Web to view their respective Project Portfolios and to give assignments to Project Team Members and to receive their progress reports.
Our Seminars are based on the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge produced and promoted by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Our instructors have extensive Project Management experience and are certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Our Registration Fees are specified in the information provided on each of our courses (seminars). In addition, we will negotiate "IN House" seminars for agencies and firms who prefer to do their training on location. Our fee for In House Seminars is $7,995 for a two day seminar plus out of pocket expenses.
